What the shop carries, and where it comes from.
Two kinds of thing: medical foods, which ship to you directly, and prescription weight care, which a licensed clinician has to prescribe first.
Medical foods
A medical food is formulated to be taken under a physician’s supervision, for the dietary management of a disease or condition with distinctive nutritional requirements. That is its definition in United States law. Medical foods are not drugs, and they are not FDA-approved.
The shop has medical foods for
- Pain and inflammation
- Sleep, including sleep disturbed by stress or anxiety
- Fatigue and focus
- Weight and metabolic health
- Loss of sensation in peripheral neuropathy
- Sinus and respiratory health
Each product states the condition it is for, how many capsules it holds and how long it lasts. Most come as a one-month or a three-month supply.
Prescription weight care
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, and the brand-name medicines Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro. The shop also carries a compounded NAD+ injection. Brand-name medicines are FDA-approved finished products; compounded preparations are made by a licensed pharmacy and are not.

- Prescribed, or notIt is prescribed only if the clinician decides it is appropriate for you. If they decide it is not, nothing is sent.
- ShippedIf it is prescribed, the clinical partner ships it to you.
What the shop does not do
- Take insurance. Everything is paid directly, at the price on the page.
- Book appointments or see anyone in person.
- Promise an outcome, from a medical food or a medicine.
- Prescribe through Balencia's founder. Beth does not prescribe.
