How you get paid

How your wholesale reaches your Stripe account, what closes a statement, and how to read the breakdown.

3-min readUpdated

Platform Health is the merchant of record. The customer pays Platform Health, and Platform Health transfers your share to the Stripe account you connect. Nothing is invoiced between you and the clinic.

The cycle

Orders fulfilled between the 1st and the last day of a month accrue onto one statement per clinic for that month. The statement closes at the end of the month.

Closing a statement is not the same as paying it.

When the money moves

There is no payout schedule, and no payout date. Once a statement has closed, Platform Health releases it, and Stripe moves the money into your connected account. Each release is done by us, one statement at a time, so a closed statement can sit as Pending for a while.

Your Payouts page lists every statement with its status. If one has been sitting pending, ask your operator where it stands — do not plan around a date nobody gave you.

What is included

The statement total is:

  • The sum of the agreed wholesale for orders you fulfilled in the period
  • Minus any returns or refunds processed in the same period

Platform Health charges no fee on the wholesale you ship. The platform fee is charged to the clinic, never to you — which is why the fee column on your statement reads $0.00.

Reading the statement

Each period has a CSV you can download from the Past payouts table. One row per clinic:

  • practice — the clinic those orders came from
  • orders — how many of its orders are in the period
  • gross_amount_usd — the wholesale those orders came to
  • platform_fee_usd — what we took out of it ($0.00)
  • net_to_vendor_usd — what is transferred to you for that clinic

The net column sums to the statement total.

When something is off

If a statement looks wrong, start with the CSV — usually it is a refund you had forgotten. If the math still does not work, message your operator with the period and the discrepancy and they will reconcile it against the ledger.
