If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe allergic reaction, suicidal thoughts, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, or any other life-threatening situation — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Signs of a medical emergency
- Chest pain or pressure
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis): swelling of face/throat, hives, wheezing
- Sudden weakness or numbness, especially on one side of the body
- Sudden confusion, difficulty speaking or understanding
- Sudden severe headache (worst of your life)
- Severe abdominal pain
- Heavy bleeding that won't stop
- Severe burns
- Loss of consciousness or fainting
- Suicidal thoughts or thoughts of hurting yourself
GLP-1 specific
If you experience severe, persistent abdominal pain (often radiating to the back), it may be a sign of pancreatitis. Stop the medication and seek emergency care.
ED medication specific
If you experience sudden vision loss, sudden hearing loss, or an erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism), seek emergency care immediately.
